ACCLE president Doug Ferguson of Western Law has been appointed to the CBA’s Futures Initiative Committee for Legal Education and Training. The CBA is looking at the future of the legal profession, and will be taking a close look at our legal education system. Doug is a council member of both the CBA and the OBA.

Downtown Legal Services at the University of Toronto celebrated its 40th anniversary earlier this year. Speakers such as well-known Family Court Judge Harvey Brownstone and Legal Aid Ontario CEO Bob Ward spoke at a special reception.
