ACCLE is comprised of a group of individuals and clinics interested in supporting clinical legal education in Canada. The organisation shares best practices, pedagogies and other information related to clinical legal education. ACCLE encourages the promotion and improvement of clinical legal education in Canadian Law Schools, promotes clinical pedagogy and research, and facilitates the dissemination of information pertaining to clinical legal education to clinicians in Canada.

Membership Types:
Regular members: Annual membership is $40, for a term of April 1 through March 31 of the following year.
Student members: Annual membership is $5, for a term of April 1 through March 31 of the following year.
Bulk discount membership packages:
- Clinics and clinical programs can register up to eight (8) regular members and unlimited student members associated with their clinic or program for a total annual cost of $200.
- Law schools and other academic institutions and register up to 20 regular members (e.g. staff and Faculty) and unlimited student members enrolled or affiliated with clinical programs for a total annual cost of $400.
Membership includes voting privileges at our annual general meeting, significantly reduced conference registration fees, access to the ACCLE listserv and other members-only events.
ACCLE Listserv – Code of Conduct:
The ACCLE Listserv aims to provide a platform for regular members to engage in respectful and meaningful exchanges of information and discussion about clinical and experiential legal education. Please take a moment to review and understand what is expected of all members of this listserv.
Note: Listserv access is conjunctive with your ACCLE membership. Please ensure that your annual membership fee is paid, as we annually review all memberships.

RULES
- No inappropriate messages
Please do not post discriminatory comments prohibited under the human rights legislation. Messages that are libelous, defamatory, threatening, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful are also prohibited.
- No solicitation
Messages should use the listserv for its intended purpose and not for marketing or solicitation.
- Provide substantial contributions
Messages should primarily consist of content that is relevant to most members. Messages that encourage members to arrive at agreements on legal technicalities or advice should be avoided, along with brief statements such as “I agree,” “Me too,” jokes, etc. Remember that you can respond privately to a member who posts on the listserv by clicking “reply” instead of “reply all.” Please feel free to continue any conversations between a small pool of members outside the listserv.
- This listserv is confidential
Content of all messages distributed on the listserv should be kept confidential. Do not forward messages to non-members of ACCLE without prior permission from the sender.
- You are solely responsible for the content of your post
Although ACCLE may monitor/moderate/redact messages, it does not have an obligation to do so. All messages are therefore considered to be the view of the sender. Please do not send messages that you would not want traced back to you, as ACCLE maintains a permanent record of all messages.
- Violating the rules could result in losing member privileges.
ACCLE reserves the right to suspend or terminate listserv privileges or take other disciplinary measures as seen fit against members who violate the rules.
